Our Litwrit Leaders

Lighting the Path

We are veteran educators with a combined 50 years of classroom and leadership experience in one of the nation’s lighthouse public school districts.

We are experts in reading and writing instruction, instructional coaching, and curriculum design, with specializations in Special Education, English Language Learning, and social-emotional development.

We’ve published scholarly articles, led teacher cohorts, and facilitated professional development.

Coming from multicultural, bilingual, and faith-based backgrounds, we bring a culturally responsive lens to our teaching. We work closely with educators to strengthen their practice, offering mentorship and instructional coaching.

In addition to our professional experience, we are also mothers who have tailored our children’s educational paths to meet their individual needs. We have tried every mode of learning: public schools, bilingual programs, private school, university-affiliated enrichment programs, private tutoring, academic franchises, and homeschooling.

Our Credentials

Within our communities, we’ve seen how families pursuing nontraditional educational paths seek rigorous, meaningful academic experiences—paired with the scaffolding and support students need to thrive. Many of these families, like us, also want more intentional oversight of what their children are learning—prioritizing age-appropriate content and protecting them from overly mature or graphic material, while still fostering critical thinking and authentic engagement.

We are committed to mindful, student-centered instruction—where every teaching decision is purposeful and attuned to the needs of learners. We design scaffolds that build toward deeper reading, sophisticated writing, and independent thinking. We view students as whole people with unique strengths, and we support their growth through rigorous, thoughtful instruction.
